1. The First Moon Landing

2. The Mars Rover Missions

Starting in 1997 with Sojourner, NASA’s Mars rovers have transformed our understanding of Mars. These robotic explorers have discovered evidence of ancient water on the Red Planet and may have even paved the way for a future human mission to Mars.

3. The Hubble Space Telescope

The Hubble Space Telescope, launched in 1990, revolutionized astronomy. It sent jaw-dropping, crystal-clear images back to Earth, snapping faraway galaxies, nebulae, and black holes, expanding human knowledge of the universe.

4. The Voyager Mission

Launched in 1977, NASA's Voyager 1 and 2 gave us our first close-up images of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Voyager 1 also became the first human-made object to enter interstellar space.
